The History of the Political Parties: how and why have they evolved?
DUE 8/14: watch each of these video clips and do a timeline of the development of each party within administrations and changes in their beliefs. Label the key presidencies and philosophies as outlined by the videos.
- In class:
Outline the political spectrum and fundamental beliefs of modern parties, tracing from Lincoln through Trump and Jackson through Obama in discussion, graphic organizer, and in a wordle.
